Wo findet die Maker Faire Hannover statt? / Where does the Maker Faire Hannover take place?

Die Maker Faire Hannover findet im Hannover Congress Centrum mit angrenzendem Stadtpark statt. Wir belegen alle drei Hallen (Niedersachsenhalle, Glashalle, Eilenriedehalle), den Außenbereich (Innenhof + Parkseite bis zum Wasserbecken) sowie im Obergeschoss den Future Meeting Space (Wissenshub/Vortragsforum).

The Maker Faire Hannover takes place in the Hannover Congress Centrum with adjacent city park. We occupy all three halls (Niedersachsenhalle, Glashalle, Eilenriedehalle), the outdoor area (inner courtyard + park side up to the water basin) and the Future Meeting Space (lecture forum) on the upper floor.

Wie erfolgt die Anmeldung? / How do I register?

Egal ob private Maker, Bildungseinrichtungen, gemeinnützige Einrichtungen oder Unternehmen: Bitte nutzt dieses Anmeldeformular. Interessierte Unternehmen finden weitere Informationen hier. Anmeldeschluss ist der 15. Mai 2026 für die Maker Faire Hannover, die am 15. und 16. August stattfindet.

Whether you are a private maker, educational institution, non-profit organisation or company: please use this registration form. Interested companies can find more information here. The registration deadline is May 15, 2026 for the Maker Faire Hannover, which will take place on August 15 and 16.

Was kostet die Teilnahme? / What does participation cost?

Das ist die beste Nachricht: für private Aussteller nichts! Ihr müsst nur eure Zeit und euer Projekt mitbringen, natürlich auch anreisen und übernachten (auf eigene Kosten). Maker mit Verkauf (Kleinunternehmer) zahlen eine Gebühr von 30,- EUR pro Quadratmeter. Unternehmen buchen ein Partner-Ausstellerpaket und unterstützen damit indirekt die Community und den Wissensaustausch auf der Veranstaltung.

That’s the best news: nothing for private exhibitors! All you have to do is bring your time and your project, and of course travel and stay overnight (at your own expense). Makers with sales (small businesses) pay a fee of EUR 30 per square meter. Companies book a partner exhibitor package and thus indirectly support the community and the exchange of knowledge at the event.

Darf man bei euch verkaufen? / Is it allowed to sell?

Ja. Dafür musst du dich bitte als Maker mit Verkauf anmelden (Anmeldeformular). Hier fällt eine Gebühr von 30,- EUR / QM zzgl. MwSt. an. Der günstige QM-Preis gilt jedoch nur für Kleinunternehmer (max. 25k EUR Jahresumsatz). Firmen buchen ein Partnerpaket. Nähere Informationen dazu finden sich hier.

Yes, please register as a maker with sales (registration form). There is a fee of 30,- EUR / QM plus VAT. However, the low QM price only applies to small businesses (EUR 25k annual turnover). Companies book a partner package. Further information can be found here.

Wer darf alles ausstellen? / Who is allowed to exhibit?

Es gibt kaum Grenzen: Private Maker, Makerspaces, Vereine, offene Werkstätten, Bildungseinrichtungen, gemeinnützige Gesellschaften und auch Unternehmen. Vorrangig werden technische Projekte gezeigt. Wenn ihr eure Ideen, Visionen und euer Wissen gerne mit anderen teilen möchtet, Feedback zu euren Projekten oder selbst Inspiration sucht und euer Netzwerk erweitern wollt – dann seid ihr bei uns richtig.

There are hardly any limits: private makers, makerspaces, associations, open workshops, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and companies. The focus is on technical projects. If you would like to share your ideas, visions and knowledge with others, get feedback on your projects or seek inspiration yourself and expand your network – then you’ve come to the right place.

Darf der Stand mit jemand anderem geteilt werden? / Can the booth be shared with someone else?

Selbstverständlich. Bitte teilt uns das bei eurer Anmeldung mit. Empfehlen möchten wir euch aber, sich getrennt anzumelden. Das ermöglicht eine bessere Wahrnehmung für eure Projekte, denn jeder Aussteller wird einzeln in unserem Ausstellerverzeichnis (Meet-the-Makers) vorgestellt. Gebt dann bei eurer Anmeldung einfach an, dass ihr nebeneinander stehen wollt. Das berücksichtigen wir in unserer Hallenplanung gerne. Auch Unternehmen dürfen sich gerne eine Standfläche teilen. Hier gilt jedoch eine Anmeldepflicht und es fällt auch eine Unterausstellergebühr an. 

Of course. Please let us know when you register. However, we would like to recommend that you register separately. This will give your projects better visibility, as each exhibitor will be presented individually in our exhibitor directory (Meet-the-Makers). When you register, simply indicate that you would like to stand next to each other. We will be happy to take this into account in our hall planning. Companies are also welcome to share a stand space. However, registration is mandatory and a sub-exhibitor fee will be charged.

Wann ist der Anmeldeschluss? / When is the registration deadline?

Der Anmeldeschluss ist der 15. Mai 2026. Wenn ihr den Anmeldeschluss verpasst haben solltet, aber gerne noch teilnehmen wollt, wendet euch an uns und wir schauen, was noch machbar ist.

Kann ich auch einen Vortrag halten? / Can I also give a lecture?

Sehr gerne sogar. Wir planen erneut für beide Tage ein Vortragsforum, unseren so genannten Wissenshub. Ein Vortrag hat 20 min. + 5 min. für Fragen und Wechsel zum nächsten Speaker. Bitte nutzt zur Anmeldung dieses Formular. Hinweis: Sofern dein Vortrag werblich gedacht ist, bspw. auf ein Produktangebot hinweisen soll, ist eine vorherige Ausstelleranmeldung als Partner notwendig.

Very gladly indeed. We are again planning a lecture forum for both days, our so-called knowledge hub. Each presentation will last 20 minutes + 5 minutes for questions and switching to the next speaker. Please use this form. Please note: If your presentation is intended for advertising purposes, e.g. to draw attention to a product offer, you must register as an exhibitor partner in advance.

Ich bin Partner oder Maker mit Verkauf. Wann erhalte ich meine Rechnung? / I am a partner or maker with sales. When will I receive my invoice?

Als Maker erhältst du die Rechnung spätestens Anfang Juli. Unternehmen unmittelbar nach der Anmeldung bzw. Buchung des Partnerpakets. Das Zahlungsziel beläuft sich auf 30 Tage. Bei offenen Rechnungen darf nicht aufgebaut werden.

As a Maker, you will receive the invoice by the beginning of July at the latest. Companies immediately after booking the partner package. The payment term is 30 days. It is not possible to build up outstanding invoices.

Wie sieht die Besucherstruktur aus? / What does the visitor structure look like?

Unsere Besucher sind bunt durchmischt. Von 0-99 Jahren ist im Prinzip alles dabei. Familien, Schüler und Studenten, Lehrkräfte, Elektroniker, Ingenieure, Wissenschaftler, Bastler und einfach an DIY sowie Technik interessierte Menschen. Aus privatem oder beruflichen Interesse. Oder um die eigenen Kids an MINT-Themen heranzuführen. Viele unserer Besucher reisen von weit an.

Our visitors are a colorful mix. From 0-99 years, there is basically everything. Families, pupils and students, teachers, electronics technicians, engineers, scientists, hobbyists and people who are simply interested in DIY and technology. Out of private or professional interest. Or to introduce their own kids to STEM topics. Many of our visitors come from far away.

Was bedeutet Community-Event? / What does community event mean?

Die Maker Faire ist vor allem eine Veranstaltung für die (internationale) Maker-Community und der (handwerklichen) YouTube-Szene. Wir bieten der Community eine kostenfreie Plattform für die Präsentation von Projekten und zum Netzwerken an und fördern zeitgleich die MINT-Bildung und den Wissensaustausch. Der Anteil der privaten Aussteller liegt bei rund 70%. Dazu zählen auch die vielen Makerspaces, Hochschulen und gemeinnützigen Einrichtungen. Finanziert wird die Veranstaltung durch teilnehmende Unternehmen, die einen Community-Zuschuss leisten, der Landeshauptstadt und Region Hannover sowie durch Eintrittsgelder.

The Maker Faire is primarily an event for the (international) maker community and the (craft) YouTube scene. We offer the community a free platform for the presentation of projects and for networking, while at the same time promoting STEM education and the exchange of knowledge. The proportion of private exhibitors is around 70%. This also includes the many makerspaces, universities and non-profit organizations. The event is financed by participating companies, which provide a community grant, the state capital and region of Hanover and admission fees.

Warum sprecht ihr auch von Festival? / Why are you talking about a festival?

Die Maker Faire ist mehr als eine “simple” Messe. Wir verzichten auf Messestellwände und aufwendige Standdesigns. Hier darf sich kreativ ausgelebt werden. An beinahe allen Ständen gibt es Mitmach-Aktionen für die Besucher. Interaktion und das spielerische Erlernen sind uns wichtig. Alle sind per Du und man hilft sich gegenseitig. Es gibt kein typisches Messe-Catering, viel mehr sind Foodtrucks und regionale Gastronomiebetriebe auf dem Gelände zu entdecken. Neben den Ständen gibt es ein umfassendes Rahmenprogramm, bestehend aus Vorträgen sowie besonderen Shows (unsere Highlights). Das kann schon einmal ein überdimensional großer Roboter oder ein feuerspuckender Drache sein, der euch im Außenbereich begegnet. Außerdem lebt die Veranstaltung von vielen Walking Acts, wie bspw. Cosplayern oder umherfahrenden R2-D2 Droiden. Wir sind schon recht bunt 🙂

The Maker Faire is more than a “simple” trade fair. We do without exhibition walls and elaborate stand designs. Here you can be creative. There are hands-on activities for visitors at almost all stands. Interaction and playful learning are important to us. Everyone is on a first-name basis (This is not a matter of course in Germany) and people help each other. There is no typical trade fair catering, but rather food trucks and regional catering businesses can be discovered on the grounds. In addition to the stands, there is a comprehensive supporting program consisting of lectures and special shows (our highlights). This could be an oversized robot or a fire-breathing dragon that you encounter in the outdoor area. The event also features many walking acts, such as cosplayers or R2-D2 droids driving around. We are already quite colorful 🙂

Na klar! Maker Faires gibt es weltweit und die Community ist ein großes Netzwerk. Die Maker Faire Hannover zählt zu einen der wichtigsten Maker-Events der Welt.

Vorbereitung / Preparation

Wie geht es nach der Anmeldung weiter? / What happens after registration?

Wir überprüfen jede Anmeldung zeitnah und senden euch spätestens nach vier Wochen eine Ab- oder Zusage. Im Fall der Zusage erhaltet ihr eine E-Mail / Partner erhalten eine Auftragsbestätigung. Anfang Juni erhaltet ihr zusammen mit dem Hallenplan und eurer Standnummer einen Zugang zum Aussteller-Servicebereich auf unserer Website, wo ihr eure Standausstattung und Ausstellerausweise bestellt sowie euren Eintrag ins Ausstellerverzeichnis vornehmt. Hier stellen wir euch auch Werbematerialien und sämtliche Informationen für die Vorbereitung eurer Teilnahme zum Download zur Verfügung.

We review every application promptly and will send you a rejection or acceptance notice within four weeks at the latest. If your application is accepted, you will receive an email; partners will receive an order confirmation. In early June, along with the hall plan and your booth number, you will receive access to the exhibitor service area on our website, where you can order your booth equipment and exhibitor badges and enter your details in the exhibitor directory. Here, we also provide you with promotional materials and all the information you need to prepare for your participation, available for download.

Wie sind die Auf- und Abbauzeiten? / What are the set-up and dismantling times?

Freitag, 14.08. 10:00-20:00 Uhr (ab 19:00 Uhr startet das Aussteller Get-together)
Samstag, 15.08. 07:30-09:30 Uhr (um 10:00 Uhr öffnen die Türen für Besucher)

Abbau
Sonntag, 16.08. 17:00-22:00 Uhr (Zufahrt aus Sicherheitsgründen erst ab 17:30 Uhr möglich)

Set-up
Friday, 14.08. 10 am – 8 pm (the exhibitor get-together starts at 7 pm)
Saturday, 15.08. 7:30 am – 9:30 am (doors open for visitors at 10 am)

Dismantling
Sunday, 16.08. 5 pm – 10 pm (access only possible from 5:30 pm for security reasons)

Wie viele Ausstellerausweise erhalten wir? / How many exhibitor passes will we receive?

Ausstellerausweise kosten 46,- EUR pro Stück. Für Maker und Bildungseinrichtungen gibt es in einem gewissen Rahmen kostenfreie Ausweise – dies richtet sich nach der Standgröße (*).

Alle benötigten Ausstellerausweise müssen vorab über den Aussteller-Servicebereich bestellt werden – ihr erhaltet keinen Ausweis automatisch. Die Ausweise werden im Anschluss an eure Bestellung personalisiert zum Download zur Verfügung gestellt.

Vor Ort erhaltet ihr bei der Registrierung im Organisationsbüro Maker Faire Lanyards mit Ausweishüllen, die ihr für eure selbst ausgedruckten Ausstellerausweise nutzen könnt.

Zu jedem Ausstellerausweis erhaltet ihr im Organisationsbüro ein Festivalbändchen, was während der Veranstaltung verpflichtend zu tragen ist. Dies ermöglicht euch Zugang zur Veranstaltung während der Aussteller-Öffnungszeiten, zum Get-together am Freitagabend und zu einer speziellen Aussteller-Cateringzone, mit kostenfreiem Kaffee und Wasser.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Ausstellerausweise sind dem Standpersonal vorbehalten. Über Ausstellerausweise werden keine Besucher eingeladen!

Separate Aufbau-Ausweise sind nicht notwendig.

*bis 9 qm = 2 Ausweise, bis 15 qm = 4 Ausweise, bis 24 qm = 6 Ausweise, bis 36 qm = 8 Ausweise, bis 48 qm = 10 Ausweise, über 48 qm = nach Absprache.

Exhibitor badges cost 46 EUR each. Makers and educational institutions are eligible for a limited number of free badges – this depends on the size of your booth (*).

All required exhibitor badges must be ordered in advance through the Exhibitor Services section – you will not receive a badge automatically. Once you place your order, the personalized passes will be made available for download.

On-site, when you register at the Maker Faire Organizing Office, you will receive lanyards with pass holders that you can use for your self-printed exhibitor passes.

For each exhibitor pass, you will receive a festival wristband at the organizing office, which must be worn at all times during the event. This grants you access to the event during exhibitor hours, to the get-together on Friday evening, and to a special exhibitor catering area with free coffee and water.

Important note: Exhibitor passes are reserved for booth staff. Exhibitor passes cannot be used to invite visitors!

Separate installation permits are not required.

*Up to 9 sqm = 2 passes, up to 15 sqm = 4 passes, up to 24 sqm = 6 passes, up to 36 sqm = 8 passes, up to 48 sqm = 10 passes, over 48 sqm = by arrangement.

Was stellt ihr zur Verfügung? / What do you provide?

Standfläche laut Anmeldung und Bestätigung + nach Bedarf und Bestellung Ausstellerausweise, Standard-Stühle und Tische sowie ein Stromanschluss 3KW Schuko. Bei eurer Registrierung vor Ort erhaltet ihr ein Welcome Bag pro Stand, euer Standschild und das WLAN Passwort. Trenn- oder Rückwände für eure Stände stellen wir nicht zur Verfügung. Der Vorteil ist, dass ihr eure Nachbarn besser kennenlernen könnt und der Austausch untereinander gefördert wird 🙂

Exhibitor space as specified in your registration and confirmation, plus exhibitor badges, standard chairs and tables, and a 3kW Schuko power outlet as needed and ordered. When you register on-site, you will receive one welcome bag per booth, your booth sign, and the Wi-Fi password. We do not provide partition walls or back panels for your booths. The advantage is that you can get to know your neighbors better and the exchange among each other is encouraged 🙂

Wie groß sind die Tische? / How large are the tables?

Die Tische haben in der Regel folgende Größen:

  • innen 160x70cm
  • außen 140x85cm oder 140x70cm

Es gibt keinen Anspruch auf eine entsprechende Größe.

Darf man in den Hallen löten? / Is soldering allowed in the halls?

Ja. Löten ist erlaubt. Wenn ihr Größeres vorhabt, lasst uns bitte im Vorfeld darüber sprechen. Im Außenbereich ist auch Schweißen und mehr erlaubt. Bei manchen Sachen braucht es jedoch einen speziellen Brandschutz und zumeist vorab eine Genehmigung und/oder Abnahme durch eine Brandwache. Erste Hinweise dazu, was geht und was nicht, findet ihr in den Technischen Richtlinien, die ihr zusammen mit dem Maker Manual im Juni über den Aussteller-Servicebereich erhaltet. Ansonsten sprecht uns bitte an! 

Yes, soldering is allowed. If you have bigger plans, please let us know in advance. Welding and more is also permitted outdoors. However, some things require special fire protection and usually prior approval and/or acceptance by a fire watch. You will find initial information on what is and is not permitted in the technical guidelines that you will receive together with the Maker Manual in June. Otherwise, please contact us!

Bitte beachtet, dass ihr zur Annahme der Lieferung selbst vor Ort sein müsst. Wir nehmen keine Lieferungen für euch an. Dementsprechend ist eine Anlieferung vor dem Aufbautag, am 22.08.25, auch nicht möglich! Mit der Bitte um Berücksichtigung.

Please note that you must be on site to accept the delivery. We do not accept deliveries for you. Accordingly, delivery before the set-up day, on 22.08.25, is also not possible! With the request for consideration.

Habt ihr einen Lagerraum? / Do you have a storage room?

Einen geschlossenen Raum leider nein. Jedoch werden wir in einem Teil des hinteren Gangs der Eilenriedehalle eine temporäre Abstellfläche für Leergut schaffen. Die Absperrung erfolgt mit einem Bauzaun, weshalb die Lagerfläche als unsicher einzustufen ist. Da wir von der Fläche limitiert sind, kontaktiert uns bitte vorab, wenn ihr zwingend Lagerbedarf habt. Es ist nicht gestattet, dort selbst etwas abzustellen. Die Koordination erfolgt über das Organisationsbüro.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a closed room. However, we will set up a temporary storage area for empties in a section of the rear hallway of the Eilenriedehalle. The area will be cordoned off with a construction fence, which is why the storage area must be classified as unsafe. Since space is limited, please contact us in advance if you have an urgent need for storage. You are not permitted to store anything there on your own. Coordination will be handled by the organizing office.

Ist es möglich, dass Pakete am Montag abgeholt werden können? / Is it possible for parcels to be collected on Monday?

Da wir die Hallen am Montag nicht mehr gemietet haben, i.d.R. nicht. Bitte sorgt dafür, dass alles am Sonntagabend weg ist. Wir müssen noch in der Nacht eine saubere Halle übergeben. Sollte das definitiv nicht möglich sein, sprecht uns bitte im Vorfeld an und wir klären das für euch mit dem Congress Centrum. Manchmal findet sich eine Lösung – versprechen können wir nichts.

As we have not rented the halls on Monday, usually not. Please make sure that everything is gone on Sunday evening. We have to hand over a clean hall that night. If this is definitely not possible, please contact us in advance and we will clarify this for you with the Congress Centrum. Sometimes a solution can be found – we can’t promise anything.

Ist der Stand nachts bewacht? / Is the booth guarded at night?

Nein. Es wird eine allgemeine Nachtwache geben, die Rundgänge durch die Hallen machen wird. Und alle Hallen werden selbstverständlich auch verschlossen sein. Einzelne Stände werden jedoch nicht bewacht. Wir haften auch nicht für etwaige Verluste oder Schäden. Auch nicht während des Aussteller Get-togethers, wo zwar keine Besucher mehr auf dem Gelände sind, aber die Stände für alle Aussteller zeitlich begrenzt noch zugänglich sind. Wir empfehlen euch eine Diebstahl-Versicherung für eure Exponate abzuschließen und Wertsachen nicht unbeaufsichtigt zu lassen. Wenn ihr dennoch eine Security (auf eigene Kosten) für eure Standfläche buchen wollt, wendet euch bitte im Vorfeld an uns. Wir vermitteln hier gerne.

No. There will be a general night watch that will make tours of the halls. And all halls will of course also be locked. However, individual stands will not be guarded. We are also not liable for any loss or damage. Not even during the exhibitor get-together, when there are no more visitors on the site, but the stands are still accessible to all exhibitors for a limited time. We recommend that you take out theft insurance for your exhibits and do not leave valuables unattended. If you still want to book security (at your own expense) for your booth, please contact us in advance. We will be happy to arrange this for you.

Dürfen außerhalb der eigenen Standfläche mobile Projekte präsentiert werden? / Can mobile projects be presented outside the booth?

Private, mobile Maker-Projekte nach Absprache ja. Die Absprache ist wichtig, da wir viele Besucher haben und es trotz breiter Gänge eng werden könnte. Auf Besucher muss stets Rücksicht genommen und Fluchtwege immer freigelassen werden, weswegen wir nicht unendlich viele mobile Projekte zulassen können. Eine werbliche Promotion (Auslegen oder Verteilung von Werbematerialien, Walking-Acts mit Firmenwerbung, Produktvorführungen etc.) außerhalb der eigenen Standfläche ist dagegen strikt untersagt. Bei Zuwiderhandlung wird eine Vertragsstrafe in Höhe von 3.000,- EUR netto fällig.

Private, mobile maker projects are permitted by prior arrangement. This arrangement is important because we have many visitors, and space can become crowded despite the wide aisles. Visitors must always be given due consideration, and escape routes must always remain clear; for this reason, we cannot allow an unlimited number of mobile projects. However, promotional activities (displaying or distributing promotional materials, walking acts featuring company advertising, product demonstrations, etc.) outside of your own booth area are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in a contractual penalty of EUR 3,000 net.

Habt ihr Tipps für ein Hotel? / Do you have any tips for a hotel?

Hannover ist groß und die Bedürfnisse sehr unterschiedlich. Sollte das Hotel fußläufig erreichbar sein, nehmt ihr die Bahn oder braucht ihr einen Parkplatz an eurer Unterkunft? Direkt neben der Maker Faire ist beispielsweise das Hannover Congress Hotel zu finden. Da Hannover eine Messestadt ist, gibt es zum Glück reichlich Auswahl. Schaut am besten einfach selbst, was euch gefällt. Ob bei Airbnb, booking.com oder via Google Maps (HCC, Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1-3, 30175 Hannover) und dann den Button „Hotels“ klicken. Auch die Landeshauptstadt Hannover hat eine Zimmervermittlung. Kontingente irgendwo führen wir nicht.

Hanover is big and the needs are very different. Should the hotel be within walking distance, do you take the train or do you need a parking space at your accommodation? The Hannover Congress Hotel, for example, is located right next to the Maker Faire. As Hanover is a trade fair city, there is fortunately plenty of choice. The state capital of Hanover also has an accommodation service. We do not have contingents anywhere.

Wie kommuniziert ihr die Veranstaltung? / How are you communicating the event?

Auf vielen Wegen. Der wichtigste Kanal ist unser kostenfreier Newsletter, der alle 14 Tage mit News aus der Maker-Welt erscheint. Außerdem wird regelmäßig im Make Magazin über die Maker Faire berichtet, wir schalten aber auch 1/1 Anzeigen bspw. in der c’t. Auf unserer Homepage sind veröffentlichte Pressemitteilungen zu finden, auf die jeder Zugriff hat und diese Informationen für eigene Berichte nutzen kann. Darüberhinaus findet eine umfassende Werbekampagne im Großraum von Hannover statt, die aus Großplakaten, Anzeigen und Radio-Spots besteht. Im Stadion von Hannover 96 ist bei Heimspielen hin- und wieder Bannerwerbung zu sehen. Bundesweit werben wir neben den Anzeigen u.a. über Social Media. Auch heise online spielt hier eine Rolle. Im letzten Jahr hatten wir eine Reichweite von rund 17 Mio. Kontakten.

We communicate in many different ways. The most important channel is our free newsletter, which is published every 14 days with news from the world of makers. In addition, we regularly report on the Maker Faire in Make Magazine, but we also place 1/1 advertisements, for example in c’t. All published press releases can be found on our homepage, to which everyone has access and can use this information for their own reports. In addition, there is a comprehensive advertising campaign in the greater Hanover area, consisting of large posters, advertisements and radio spots. Banner advertising can occasionally be seen at Hannover 96’s stadium during home matches. We advertise nationwide via social media, among other things. heise online also plays a role here. Last year, we reached approximately 17 million people.

Die beste Anreise? Gibt es Ausstellerparkplätze? / The best way to get there? Are there exhibitor parking spaces?

Das HCC liegt zentral in der Stadt. Der Umwelt und der Stadt zuliebe reist ihr am besten mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln an. Solltet ihr von außerhalb kommen, nutzt nach Möglichkeit die Park&Ride-Parkplätze der Stadt, um dann mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln weiter zu fahren.

  • Straßenbahn Linie 11 Richtung Zoo, Haltestelle Hannover Congress Centrum
  • Bus 128, 134 Richtung Peiner Straße
  • Für Autofahrer gibt es ein Parkhaus direkt am HCC. Dieses ist vorrangig unseren Besuchern vorbehalten
  • Es wird nummerierte Ausstellerparkplätze auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände geben. Zufahrt erhaltet ihr nur mit einem Parkausweis. Dieser ist im Aussteller-Servicebereich ab Juni zu beantragen. Die Stellplätze sind limitiert. Es gilt first come first serve, pro Aussteller max. ein Parkplatz. Vor Ort wird einen Parkplatz-Einweiser geben
  • Be- und Entladen könnt ihr zeitlich begrenzt an den Hallen während der Auf- und Abbauzeiten. Bei der Einfahrt auf das Veranstaltungsgelände erhaltet ihr ein Passierschein, wo eure Kontaktdaten und die Standnummer einzutragen sind. Der Schein ist im Auto gut sichtbar zu hinterlegen, so können wir euch leichter erreichen, wenn das Auto aus Gründen umgeparkt werden muss. Solltet ihr keinen Parkausweis haben, ist euer Fahrzeug unmittelbar nach dem Laden vom Veranstaltungsgelände zu entfernen.

The HCC is centrally located in the city. For the sake of the environment and the city, the best way to get here is by public transport. If you are coming from outside the city, please use the city’s Park&Ride car parks if possible and then continue your journey by public transport.

  • Tram line 11 towards Zoo, stop Hannover Congress Centrum
  • Bus 128, 134 towards Peiner Straße
  • For drivers, there is a parking garage right next to the HCC. This is primarily reserved for our visitors
  • There will be numbered exhibitor parking spaces on the event grounds. Access is only granted with a parking pass. You can apply for this pass at the Exhibitor Service Area starting in June. Parking spaces are limited. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of one parking space per exhibitor. A parking attendant will be on site
  • Loading and unloading is permitted for a limited time at the halls during setup and teardown periods. Upon entering the event grounds, you will receive a pass on which you must enter your contact information and booth number. The pass must be displayed in a clearly visible location in your car so that we can contact you more easily if the car needs to be moved for any reason. If you do not have a parking pass, your vehicle must be removed from the event grounds immediately after loading.
Wohin wende ich mich, wenn ich ankomme? / Where do I go when I arrive?

Wenn ihr ankommt, wendet euch bitte umgehend an das Organisationsbüro und registriert euch. Hier gibt es auch eure Lanyards für die Ausstellerausweise und die Festivalbändchen. Das Büro befindet sich im zentralen Foyer mittig zwischen den drei Hallen und ist ausgeschildert.

When you arrive, please contact the organization office immediately and register. This is where you will also receive your lanyards for the exhibitor passes and festival wristbands. The office is located in the central foyer in the middle between the three halls and is signposted.

Was ist ein Welcome Bag? / What is a welcome bag?

Wie der Name schon sagt: Mit dem Welcome Bag heißen wir euch zur Maker Faire Willkommen 🙂 Es wird voraussichtlich eine Maker Faire Tasche sein, enthalten sind ein aktuelles Make Magazin und vermutlich auch ein paar Gimmicks. Das kommt ein wenig auf unsere Partner und Sponsoren an. Pro Stand gibt es ein Welcome Bag. Ihr erhaltet die Tasche bei der Registrierung im Organisationsbüro.

As the name already says: With the Welcome Bag we welcome you to the Maker Faire 🙂 It will probably be a Maker Faire bag, contain a current Make magazine and probably also a few gimmicks. That depends a little on our partners and sponsors. There will be one welcome bag per booth. You will receive the bag when you register at the organization office.

Gibt es Unterstützung beim Aufbau? / Is there any support for setting up?

Unsere Crew unterstützt bei kleineren Notfällen. Bedenkt aber, dass wir nur wenige Helfer haben und nicht alle überall gleichzeitig sein können. Schließt euch ansonsten mit anderen Makern kurz (zum Beispiel durch unsere Facebook-Gruppe), vielleicht könnt ihr euch so ja gegenseitig helfen 🙂

Our crew provides support in minor emergencies. But keep in mind that we only have a few helpers and not everyone can be everywhere at the same time. Otherwise, get in touch with other makers (for example through our Facebook group), maybe you can help each other out 🙂

Habt ihr Rollwagen, Hubwagen oder gar einen Gabelstapler vor Ort? / Do you have trolleys, pallet trucks or even a forklift truck on site?

Einen Hubwagen leihen wir gegen Pfand für kurze Momente aus. Kommt dafür bitte in das Organisationsbüro. Zudem steht uns ein Gabelstapler zur Verfügung. Solltet ihr diesen benötigen, sprecht uns bitte im Vorfeld an. Am einfachsten ist aber, ihr bringt euch eigene Transportwagen mit, denn o.g. Hubwagen existiert nur einmal und wir haben über 200 Aussteller. 

We lend out a pallet truck for short periods in exchange for a deposit. Please come to the registration desk to borrow one. We also have a forklift available. If you need to use it, please let us know in advance. However, the easiest option is to bring your own transport cart, as we only have one hand truck and there are over 200 exhibitors.

Wie sieht es vor Ort mit der Verpflegung aus? / What about catering on site?

Wir richten einen Ausstellerbereich ein, wo es kostenfrei Filterkaffee & stilles Wasser zur Selbstbedienung gibt. Unser Cateringpartner wird zudem ein Foodtruck/Imbiss in diesem Jahr platzieren, der nur für Aussteller zugänglich ist. Angebot und Preise stehen noch nicht fest. Ansonsten gibt es zahlreiche Catering-Stände, vorwiegend im Außenbereich – zugänglich für alle, dementsprechend ist hier mit längeren Wartezeiten zu rechnen. Bitte beachtet, dass die Essenstände nur am Samstag und Sonntag geöffnet sind. Wer am Freitag (Aufbautag) zwischendurch Hunger bekommt, dem empfehlen wir einen Pizza-Lieferservice. Oder ihr bringt euch was mit. Entgegen der Hausordnung schauen wir hier nicht so genau hin. Und am Freitagabend gibt es dann noch das Get-together.

We are setting up an exhibitor area where filter coffee and still water will be available for self-service at no charge. Our catering partner will also be setting up a food truck/snack bar this year that is accessible only to exhibitors. The menu and prices have not yet been finalized. Otherwise, there will be numerous catering stands, primarily in the outdoor area—accessible to everyone, so please expect longer wait times here. Please note that the food stands are only open on Saturday and Sunday. If you get hungry on Friday (setup day), we recommend a pizza delivery service. Or you can bring your own food. Contrary to the house rules, we won’t be enforcing this strictly. And on Friday evening, there will be a get-together.

Gibt es eine Garderobe und/oder Umkleide? / Is there a checkroom and/or changing room?

Es gibt am Eingang der Niedersachsenhalle eine Garderobe vom HCC mit beschränkter Verfügbarkeit und gegen Gebühr (voraussichtlich 2,- EUR), geöffnet zu den Besucherzeiten. Eine Umkleide gibt es auch, jedoch ohne Aufsicht.

There is an HCC checkroom at the entrance to the Niedersachsenhalle with limited availability and for a fee (probably EUR 2), open during visitor times. There is also a changing room but without supervision.

Gibt es Schließfächer? / Are there lockers available?

Ja. Ein Presserundgang findet am Samstagvormittag statt, geführt vom Chefredakteur des Make Magazins, Daniel Bachfeld.

Was ist das Get-together? / What is the get-together?

Das Get-together ist ein Dankeschön von uns an alle Aussteller. Wir möchten Danke sagen für eure Teilnahme an der Maker Faire und laden alle Aussteller exklusiv zu Getränken und Essen ein (solange der Vorrat reicht). Lernt euch untereinander kennen und tauscht euch mit anderen Ausstellern aus. Das Ganze findet direkt im HCC auf dem Food Court (Stadtpark) von 19:00-22:00 Uhr am Freitagabend statt. 

The get-together is a thank you from us to all exhibitors. We would like to say thank you for your participation in the Maker Faire and invite all exhibitors exclusively to drinks and food (while supplies last). Get to know each other and exchange ideas with other exhibitors. The event will take place right at the HCC in the food court (Stadtpark) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
