Call for Makers Hannover (English)

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Germany’s largest maker event, the Maker Faire Hannover. The next event will take place on August 24-25, 2024. The Call for Makers for the 10th Maker Faire Hannover is open. We look forward to receiving your registration by June 09, 2024 at the latest. Maker Faire Hannover 2024, August, 24-25

First of all: To which exhibitor group do you belong?*
1) Makers without sales (private persons, fablabs, makerspaces, open workshops, schools, universities, research institutes, non-profit institutions, associations) Participation is free of charge. A company presence and commercial advertising are not allowed! 2) Makers with sales: see above, but with product sales or fee-based workshop offerings. Here, a booth fee of 30,- EUR net/sqm will be charged and we usually need a trade license. Again, a company presence and advertising for third parties are not allowed! 3) Partners. Interested companies do not register via the Call for Makers form, please email Daniel (dnr@maker-faire.de) and we will inform you about the different options for exhibitor participation or sponsorship.

Do you already know which hands-on activity will take place at your booth?
The Maker Faire thrives on participation and interaction with visitors. We encourage all exhibitors to offer something to participate in and try out, and not just to exhibit the project. This could be a workshop, for example. If you have to pay for this workshop, please note that you will then fall under exhibitor category 2 (Maker with sales). Chargeable means that you charge a fee. A possible refinancing of material costs does not fall under this category.

2. Booth
Desired booth size*
At Maker Faire 2023 we noticed again that some people had too much space. Since we have already grown from 2022 to 2023, we ask you to realistically estimate the space needed so that we can accommodate as many exhibitors as possible and it does not look so empty in some places. Chairs and tables will be provided free of charge. We will ask for the actual demand after the registration deadline, as well as your possible electricity demand.
Where would you like to stand?*
The stand allocation will be made by us in June after the registration deadline. There is no claim to a certain area, but we will gladly try to consider your wishes. For orientation click here for the site plan of 2023
