Call for Makers Hannover (English)

Welcome and thank you for wanting to be an exhibitor at the Maker Faire Hannover. The next event will take place again from August 23-24, 2025 at the Hannover Congress Centrum.

The Call for Makers is already closed and all stand spaces have been allocated. We will be happy to put you on the waiting list. As a rule, there are cancellations at short notice, then there is a chance to move up. Please fill out the form below.

Maker Faire Hannover 2025, 23.-24. August

Which exhibitor group do you belong to?*
- Makers without sales, including private individuals, fablabs, makerspaces, open workshops, non-profit organizations and associations. Participation is free of charge. A company presence and commercial advertising are not permitted
- Universities, schools, other educational institutions Participation is free of charge. Prerequisite for this is: 1) Thematically appropriate 2) The presentation of (innovative) projects and the exchange of knowledge are in the foreground 3) Interactive stand planning. The offer does not apply to innovation and start-up centers and start-ups, provided that a corporate form exists. The price list for partners applies here
- Makers with product sales or chargeable workshop offers (>as material costs) A stand fee of 30,- EUR net/sqm will be charged and we usually require a trade license. Maximum annual turnover EUR 22,000 (small business). If the annual turnover is higher, the price list for partners applies. The presence of third parties and third-party product advertising are not permitted
- Partners, including companies, the city, economic associations, etc. Registration does not take place via this form. We offer various exhibition and sponsorship packages. You can find more information here

The Maker Faire thrives on participation and interaction with visitors. We encourage all exhibitors to offer something to participate in and try out and not just exhibit something to look at. This can also be a workshop. If you would like to offer this for a fee, please note that you may then fall into the exhibitor category Maker with sales. This happens if the participation fee is higher than the pure material costs

So that we can better understand what you would like to present at the Maker Faire. A project photo may also be used for the Meet-the-Makers (online exhibitor list) if you do not make an entry in the exhibitor directory. You will receive a form from us later for this purpose. Accordingly, by uploading the photo, you grant Maker Media GmbH (organizer) the simple right to make it publicly accessible on the website https://maker-faire.de/ and, if applicable, to publish it via the social media channels of Maker Media GmbH and to use it for press purposes free of charge. You assure that the content provided by you is free of third-party rights (copyright, trademark rights, personal rights, etc.) or that you have an exclusive license. In particular, you ensure that you have obtained legally compliant consent for publication from the persons depicted and that you have fulfilled the necessary legal data protection information obligations. You release Maker Media GmbH from any liability for the content provided
2. Booth
Desired booth size*
At Maker Faire Hannover 2024, we were fully booked with around 250 stands. We expect a similar number for Maker Faire Hannover 2025. Accordingly, we ask you to estimate the space requirements realistically and not too generously so that we can accommodate as many exhibitors as possible. We will provide chairs and tables free of charge as required. We will ask for your specific requirements for furniture and electricity at a later date
Individual space requirements*
Please enter here how many square meters of stand space you require (max. 70 sqm). If the stand must have certain dimensions, please also enter the desired width and length. Please note that we have to check your requirements for feasibility and cannot guarantee your wishes. We will do our best and get back to you as soon as possible for coordination
Where would you like to stand?*
The final stand allocation will be made by us in June after the registration deadline. There is no entitlement to a specific area, but we will gladly try to take your wishes into account. For orientation you will find the hall plan of 2024 here.

3. Wissenshub (lecture forum)
Lecture at the Maker Faire "Wissenshub"
In the Knowledge Hub (Wissenshub) of the Maker Faire on Saturday and Sunday 20min. presentations are planned. Participation for visitors is free of charge. If you can imagine giving a talk at the Maker Faire, please check the box here and we will contact you separately. Please note that there will be no simultaneous translation
