Exhibitor Services Area

In the password-protected service area, you’ll find all the information you need to prepare for your participation as an exhibitor: the Maker Manual, the Technical Guidelines, the House Rules, the hall layout with marked booths (including dimensions), a list of exhibitors with details about your booth space, and an order form for chairs, tables, electricity, and LAN. An order form for your exhibitor badges and parking passes, as well as our logo and promotional materials for download.

Die nackte Standfläche laut Hallenplan und Ausstellerliste. Wir haben versucht, eure Wünsche bestmöglich zu erfüllen. Einen Anspruch auf eine bestimmte Platzierung gibt es nicht. Wenn ihr Stühle und Tische oder einen Stromanschluss benötigt, bitte über den Servicebereich (Orders) bestellen. Hier sind auch eure Ausstellerausweise zu bestellen. Bei eurer Registrierung vor Ort im Organisationsbüro erhaltet ihr ein Welcome Bag pro Stand, euer Standschild und das WLAN Passwort. Trenn- oder Rückwände für eure Stände stellen wir nicht zur Verfügung. 

The bare booth space as shown on the hall layout and exhibitor list. We have done our best to accommodate your requests. There is no guarantee of a specific location. If you need chairs, tables, or an electrical outlet, please order them via the service area (Orders). You can also order your exhibitor badges here. When you register on-site at the organizing office, you will receive one welcome bag per booth, your booth sign, and the Wi-Fi password. We do not provide partition walls or back panels for your booths.

Ausstellerausweise kosten 46,- EUR pro Stück. Für Maker und Bildungseinrichtungen gibt es in einem gewissen Rahmen kostenfreie Ausweise – dies richtet sich nach der Standgröße (*). Individuell vereinbarte Partner-Pakete enthalten ggf. Ausstellerausweise. In dem Fall schreiben wir keine weitere Rechnung.

Alle benötigten Ausstellerausweise müssen vorab über den Servicebereich (Orders) bestellt werden. Wenn ihr keine Ausstellerausweise bestellt, erhaltet ihr auch keine. Die Ausweise werden im Anschluss an eure Bestellung personalisiert zum Download zur Verfügung gestellt.

Vor Ort erhaltet ihr bei der Registrierung im Organisationsbüro Maker Faire Lanyards mit Ausweishüllen, die ihr für eure selbst ausgedruckten Ausstellerausweise nutzen könnt.

For each exhibitor pass, you will receive a festival wristband at the organizing office, which must be worn at all times during the event. This grants you access to the event during exhibitor hours, to the get-together on Friday evening, and to a special exhibitor catering area with free coffee and water.

Separate Aufbau-Ausweise sind nicht notwendig.

Exhibitor badges cost EUR 46,- each. Makers and educational institutions are eligible for a limited number of free badges – this depends on the size of your booth (*). Customized partner packages may include exhibitor badges. In that case, we will not issue a separate invoice.

All required exhibitor badges must be ordered in advance through the Services section (Orders) – you will not receive a badge automatically. Once you place your order, the personalized passes will be made available for download.

On-site, when you register at the Maker Faire Organizing Office, you will receive lanyards with pass holders that you can use for your self-printed exhibitor passes.

Nein, wir mischen die Hallen bunt. So wird es für Besucher spannend, von Stand zu Stand Neues zu entdecken. So erkunden sie das gesamte Veranstaltungsgelände und kommen bei nahezu jedem Aussteller vorbei und konzentrieren sich nicht nur auf den Bereich ihres eigentlichen Interesses. Die Besucher nennen es Vielfalt, wir übergreifende Inspiration. Auch für euch Aussteller wird es nicht langweilig. Da wir keine Trennwände anbieten, lernt ihre eure Standnachbarn besser kennen und sammelt evtl. selbst neues Wissen. In der Vergangenheit sind auf dem Weg neue Projekte entstanden und es haben sich Freundschaften entwickelt.  

No, we mix up the halls to keep things interesting. This makes it exciting for visitors to discover something new at every booth. That way, they explore the entire event grounds, stop by nearly every exhibitor, and don’t just focus on the area they’re actually interested in. Visitors call it diversity; we call it cross-cutting inspiration. It won’t be boring for you exhibitors either. Since we don’t use partition walls, you’ll get to know your booth neighbors better and may even gain new insights yourselves. In the past, new projects have emerged along the way, and friendships have developed.

Die Tische haben in der Regel folgende Größen:

• innen 160x70cm (74cm hoch)
• außen 140x85cm oder 140x70cm

Der Mietpreis pro Tisch liegt bei 40,- EUR. Es gibt keinen Anspruch auf eine entsprechende Größe. Stühle kosten 30,- EUR pro Stück. Maker und Bildungseinrichtungen erhalten Stühle und Tische bei Bedarf kostenfrei. Die Anzahl richtet sich nach der Standgröße. Individuell vereinbarte Partner-Pakete enthalten ggf. Stühle und Tische nach Bedarf. In dem Fall schreiben wir keine weitere Rechnung.

The tables usually have the following sizes:

Anfang Juli versenden wir die Standrechnungen für die Kategorie „Maker mit Verkauf“. Das Zahlungsziel beläuft sich auf 14 Tage. Alle Partner haben ihre Rechnung bereits erhalten. Bei offenen Rechnungen darf nicht aufgebaut werden. Kostenpflichtige Bestellungen aus dem Servicebereich (Ausstellerausweise, Mobiliar, Strom) rechnen wir nach der Veranstaltung ab.

In early July, we will send out the booth invoices for the “Makers with Sales” category. Payment is due within 14 days. All partners have already received their invoices. Booth setup is not permitted until all outstanding invoices have been paid. We will invoice you for any charges incurred through our services (exhibitor badges, furniture, electricity) after the event.

Please note that you must be on site to accept the delivery. We do not accept deliveries for you. Accordingly, delivery before the set-up day, on 14.08.26, is also not possible! With the request for consideration.

Im nördlichen Ende des Westfoyers der Eilenriedehalle wird es eine temporäre Abstellfläche für Leergut geben. Die Absperrung erfolgt mit einem Bauzaun, weshalb die Lagerfläche als unsicher einzustufen ist. Es ist nicht gestattet, dort selbst etwas abzustellen. Die Koordination erfolgt über das Organisationsbüro. Einen abschließbaren Lagerraum haben wir nicht.

There will be a temporary drop-off area for empties at the north end of the Eilenriedehalle’s west foyer. The area will be cordoned off with a construction fence, which is why the storage area must be classified as unsafe. You are not permitted to store anything there on your own. Coordination will be handled by the organizing office. We don’t have a lockable storage room.

Es wird eine allgemeine Nachtwache geben, die Rundgänge durch die Hallen machen wird. Und alle Hallen werden selbstverständlich auch verschlossen sein. Einzelne Stände werden jedoch nicht bewacht. Wir haften auch nicht für etwaige Verluste oder Schäden. Auch nicht während des Aussteller Get-togethers, wo zwar keine Besucher mehr auf dem Gelände sind, aber die Stände für alle Aussteller zeitlich begrenzt noch zugänglich sind. Wir empfehlen euch eine Diebstahl-Versicherung für eure Exponate abzuschließen und Wertsachen nicht unbeaufsichtigt zu lassen. Wenn ihr dennoch eine Security (auf eigene Kosten) für eure Standfläche buchen wollt, wendet euch bitte im Vorfeld an uns. Wir vermitteln hier gerne.

There will be a general night watch that will make tours of the halls. And all halls will of course also be locked. However, individual stands will not be guarded. We are also not liable for any loss or damage. Not even during the exhibitor get-together, when there are no more visitors on the site, but the stands are still accessible to all exhibitors for a limited time. We recommend that you take out theft insurance for your exhibits and do not leave valuables unattended. If you still want to book security (at your own expense) for your booth, please contact us in advance. We will be happy to arrange this for you.

Da wir die Hallen am Montag nicht mehr gemietet haben, i.d.R. nicht. Bitte sorgt dafür, dass alles am Sonntagabend weg ist. Wir müssen noch in der Nacht eine saubere Halle übergeben. Sollte das definitiv nicht möglich sein, sprecht uns bitte im Vorfeld an und wir klären das für euch mit dem Congress Centrum. 

As we have not rented the halls on Monday, usually not. Please make sure that everything is gone on Sunday evening. We have to hand over a clean hall that night. If this is definitely not possible, please contact us in advance and we will clarify this for you with the Congress Centrum.

Ja. Löten ist erlaubt. Wenn ihr Größeres vorhabt, lasst uns bitte im Vorfeld darüber sprechen. Im Außenbereich ist auch Schweißen und mehr erlaubt. Bei manchen Sachen braucht es jedoch einen speziellen Brandschutz und zumeist vorab eine Genehmigung und/oder Abnahme durch eine Brandwache. Erste Hinweise dazu, was geht und was nicht, findet ihr in den Technischen Richtlinien und dem Maker Manual, beides findet ihr im Servicebereich. Ansonsten sprecht uns bitte an! 

Yes, soldering is allowed. If you have bigger plans, please let us know in advance. Welding and more is also permitted outdoors. However, some things require special fire protection and usually prior approval and/or acceptance by a fire watch. You can find initial guidance on what is and isn’t allowed in the Technical Guidelines and the Maker Manual, both of which are available in the Service Area. Private, mobile Maker-Projekte nach Absprache ja. Die Absprache ist wichtig, da wir viele Besucher haben und es trotz breiter Gänge eng werden könnte. Auf Besucher muss stets Rücksicht genommen und Fluchtwege immer freigelassen werden, weswegen wir nicht unendlich viele mobile Projekte zulassen können. Eine werbliche Promotion (Auslegen oder Verteilung von Werbematerialien, Walking-Acts mit Firmenwerbung, Produktvorführungen etc.) außerhalb der eigenen Standfläche ist dagegen strikt untersagt. Bei Zuwiderhandlung wird eine Vertragsstrafe in Höhe von 3.000,- EUR netto fällig.

Private, mobile maker projects are permitted by prior arrangement. This arrangement is important because we have many visitors, and space can become crowded despite the wide aisles. Visitors must always be given due consideration, and escape routes must always remain clear; for this reason, we cannot allow an unlimited number of mobile projects. However, promotional activities (displaying or distributing promotional materials, walking acts featuring company advertising, product demonstrations, etc.) outside of your own booth area are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in a contractual penalty of EUR 3,000 net.

Hannover ist groß und die Bedürfnisse sehr unterschiedlich. Sollte das Hotel fußläufig erreichbar sein, nehmt ihr die Bahn oder braucht ihr einen Parkplatz an eurer Unterkunft? Direkt neben der Maker Faire ist beispielsweise das Hannover Congress Hotel zu finden. Da Hannover eine Messestadt ist, gibt es zum Glück reichlich Auswahl. Schaut am besten einfach selbst, was euch gefällt. Ob bei Airbnb, booking.com oder via Google Maps (HCC, Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1-3, 30175 Hannover) und dann den Button „Hotels“ klicken. Auch die Landeshauptstadt Hannover hat eine Zimmervermittlung. Kontingente irgendwo führen wir nicht.

Hanover is big and the needs are very different. Should the hotel be within walking distance, do you take the train or do you need a parking space at your accommodation? The Hannover Congress Hotel, for example, is located right next to the Maker Faire. As Hanover is a trade fair city, there is fortunately plenty of choice. It’s best to see for yourself what you like. Whether on Airbnb, booking.com or via Google Maps (HCC, Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1-3, 30175 Hannover) and then click on the “Hotels” button. The state capital of Hanover also has an accommodation service. We do not have contingents anywhere.
