At the MAD EYES Print Lab booth, visitors can discover a collection of handmade screen-printed wall art, limited-edition prints, and original apparel featuring my signature eye-themed designs.
One of the highlights of the booth will be a brand-new MAD EYES design created especially for Maker Faire Hannover. Throughout the event, I will print this design live on-site, allowing visitors to experience the screen-printing process from start to finish and see how a hand-pulled print comes to life.
In addition to the finished products, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the tools, equipment, and DIY solutions I have built and adapted for my own screen-printing practice. I enjoy experimenting with accessible and low-cost making techniques, and I am happy to share insights into the creative and technical challenges behind the process.
The booth is designed not only as a place to buy unique artwork and apparel, but also as a small open studio where people can ask questions, learn about screen printing, and get hands-on experience with some of the tools and techniques involved.
Whether you are interested in art, design, making, or simply curious about how handmade prints are produced, there will be plenty to discover and discuss.
Mitmachaktion: Visitors can participate in live screen-printing demonstrations and get a hands-on introduction to the process. They will be able to explore and try some of the DIY tools and equipment I use in my workshop, learn how screen printing works, and discover the different stages of creating a handmade print.
Throughout the event, I will print a special Maker Faire Hannover edition design live at the booth, giving visitors the opportunity to closely observe the process, ask questions, and interact with the tools and materials involved.
The activity is designed to make screen printing accessible and approachable, showing how creative results can be achieved with handmade and self-built solutions.
