The BIOPLAnet project goal is to promote STEAM by raising awareness about the circular economy, and more specifically problems with plastic recycling. On one side DIY bioplastic made by starch from potato and on other side plastic object done by recycling fossil based plastic. To Maker Faire Hannover visitors we will show tablecloth where whole process of DIY plastic can be done at home or in the school. We will also show products made from plastic caps (HDPE plastic) using different techniques.
Mitmachangebot: Show how DIY bioplastic can be done, and engage visitors to think about what can be done from recycled plastic.
